What are the minimum browser requirements to access the course lessons?

Modified on Wed, 27 Sep 2023 at 05:22 PM

In order to access your course lessons, you'll need to be using an up to date internet browser.

We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (the course videos won't work properly if you are in 'private browsing mode' in Firefox).

Please ensure that it is the most up to date version.

Internet Explorer is an out of date browser and is no longer supported by Microsoft, it can not be used to access our courses.

To complete each lesson, our software needs to identify you; this is done by using a small piece of data called a "cookie".

You need to have cookies enabled on your browser for our elearning software to work.

If you are using any software which blocks cookies, you'll need to turn this off, otherwise our software won't let you move on to the next lesson.

We recommend that you do not access our courses through a VPN (virtual private network).

If you've complied with all of the above and you're still having issues accessing any of our course lessons, we recommend that you log out, close down your browser, then re-open your browser and then log back in again at https://www.dangerousgoodstrainingonline.com, to reset the cookie.

At this point, if your browser asks you to "accept cookies" please allow this.

We've not yet identified any issues with accessing course lessons which are not solved by the above; but if you try all of the above and you still have issues, please take a screen shot and email it to: hello@dangerousgoodstrainingonline.com or click "submit a ticket" in the top right hand corner above and attach the screenshot with an explanation, and our technical team will look into the issue straight away for you.
